NEGHL Alternate / Substitute Player Rule

Players may only be borrowed from within your own program.

Players must be identified on ALL copies of the game sheet as "ALT"

 

Tier I Players must play on their assigned Tier I team and are allowed to fill in on their program's Tier I team in age division(s) above.

U10 Tier 1 players allowed to fill on the program's U12 Tier 1 team only

U12 Tier 1 players allowed to fill on the program's U14 Tier 1 team only

U14 Tier 1 players allowed to fill on the programs's U16 Tier 1 team only

U16 Tier 1 players allowed to fill on the program's U19 Tier 1 team only

U19 Tier 1 players cannot be used for any other team. 

 

Tier II players must play their assigned Tier II team and are allowed to fill-in on their program's Tier I team in the same age division or theTier I or Tier II team in age division(s) above.

U10 Tier 2 players allowed to fill on the program's U10 Tier 1, U12 Tier 2, and U12 Tier 1 teams

U12 Tier 2 players allowed to fill on the program's  U12 Tier 1, U14 Tier 2, and U14 Tier 1 teams

U14 Tier 2 players allowed to fill on the program's U14 Tier 1, U16 Tier 2, and U16 Tier 1 teams

U16 Tier 2 playesr allowed to fill on the program's U16 Tier 1, U19 Tier 2, and U19 Tier 1 teams

U19 Tier 2 players allowed to fill in on the program's U19 Tier 1 team only

 

Goalies - if team can't meet the requirements above: 

Program Director must request permission of NEGHL Board AND report request to opponent's Program Director

 

All player substitutions are subject to NEGHL Board review upon request within 48 hours. Email request to: info@neghl.org
